If you receive a CARE-discounted energy bill, you are also eligible for:

  • $15/month discount from the CA LifeLine fund on Boost Mobile wireless service for the duration of the pilot. 
  • Special Help Due to COVID-19
    • Unlimited plans receive an increase in Mobile Hotspot data allowance. 
    • Limited data plans receive an EXTRA 20GB of data from Boost Mobile for use by May 20, 2020, in addition to the monthly data allotment already included with your service plan of choice. 
     

It is FAST and EASY to join the CARE and Boost Mobile Pilot, just follow these easy steps:

  • Step 1 - If you are not already a Boost Mobile subscriber, go online to Boostmobile.com and sign-up for the service plan that best meets your need, with your existing compatible device, or purchase a new device that will be mailed via next-day delivery.  Existing Boost Mobile customers, go to Step 2.
  • Step 2 - Call or text 1-833-2SAVE15 or email FSCallCenter@Mail.FresnoState.Edu and provide the call center representative with a copy of your CARE-discounted energy bill*, your first and last name, your handset ESN (if available) and your Boost Mobile phone number (existing or newly assigned).

* CARE Program participating energy utilities include:  PG&E, SCE, SoCal Gas, and SDG&E.
